Discover our intensive 600-hour Comprehensive Teacher Training Program—an in-depth study of Joseph Pilates' original Method of Contrology. Through rigorous practice, detailed coursework, and intentional workouts, you'll progress from student to teacher while developing the understanding, discipline, and teaching skills required to carry the method forward.
Fall Program Starts September 2026!
Join us on the Upper West Side in NYC for our fall program. This is a 6 month program, with 4 intensive weekends designed to take you from fundamentals to mastery of the Pilates Method.
Whether your goal is to teach professionally or to deepen your personal practice, this program gives you the complete foundation in the original Pilates Method, what Joseph Pilates called Contrology.
We are an in-studio program, you'll learn live, from the top trainers in our school. You will get hands-on, real time guidance every step of the way.
STRUCTURE & SCHEDULE
Weekend One – Beginner System | September 25 - September 27, 2026
Build your base. Learn the principles of Contrology, the complete beginner repertoire across all Pilates apparatus. Learn basic teaching skills and how to confidently introduce new students to the method.
Weekend Two – Intermediate System | October 16 - October 18, 2026
Further your knowledge with the intermediate Pilates system, refine your teaching techniques including use of verbal cueing, hands on guidance and demonstration. Master beginner to intermediate level progressions that will continue to challenge your students.
Weekend One – Advanced System | December 4 - December 6, 2026
Push the limits. Explore the advanced system, deepen your technical precision, and learn how to lead seasoned practitioners with clarity and flow.
Weekend Four – Anatomy & Special Cases |
January 8 - January 10, 2027
Gain practical knowledge of skeletal and muscular anatomy in motion and how it relates to the Pilates method. Learn how to cater the Pilates system for special populations, injury prevention and ultimately adapt the Pilates method to fit any body.

Anna Clark is the founder of Nexa Studios, creator of the Nexa Sport Training Program and a teacher since 2004. Among other disciplines, she specializes in teaching Pilates' original Method of Contrology through the comprehensive training and private instruction. She is passionate about passing on the work and helping her students build strength, confidence, and exceptional teaching skills.
Levi Nordquist is a movement educator and co-creator of the Nexa Sport Program. Since 2010, he has immersed himself in the study of Pilates, yoga, anatomy, biomechanics, and functional movement. A graduate of the PPATT™ Advanced Pilates Program and a certified Structural Medicine Specialist, Levi integrates principles from a range of movement disciplines into his teaching while honoring the integrity of the traditional Pilates method and embracing its continued evolution. Known for his precise instruction and engaging teaching style, he helps students and teachers understand not just what to do, but why—empowering them to teach and move with more awareness and confidence.
